Hospital Cash Assistance plan offers cash reimbursements against the expenses paid in a hospital resulting from hospitalization for at least 24 hours due to any accidental and sickness matters. This plan offers full convenience and protection through very simple life insurance product offering one-year coverage.

What coverage is provided by a Hospital Cash Assistance plan?

The hospital cash assistance plan offers specific amounts as daily benefits as per the level of coverage sought such as silver, gold and platinum plans. In case the insured had to stay in the intensive car unit (ICU) in a hospital, then he can also get additional daily benefit of 100% of his daily cash benefit. This is an inpatient coverage plan only and applicable to the hospitalization expenses. The plan can be purchased by any one aged between 18 to 61 years old.

Key Exclusions of Hospital Cash Assistance Plan

The hospital cash assistance plan does not cover any pre-exiting conditions.
The plan offers 14 days of free look period starting from the date you receive your insurance policy to review all the details and to decide whether or not you want to keep this moving forward.
The maximum number of hospitalization days being covered by this plan are 30 days.
You can get coverage of a maximum consecutive hospitalization for up-to 15 days and in case of two consecutive hospitalizations, there must be a gap of 30 days.
There are no medical tests required to get a hospital cash assistance plan.
